 Conference organised by the European Science Foundation program AIGM:
 Introgression from Genetically Modified Plants into wild relatives and its
consequences

 Dear colleagues,

many of you will have seen the first announcement of this upcoming European
Science Foundation conference, January 2003, organised by the AIGM program
[Assessement of the Impact of Genetically Modified Plants]: Introgression
of GM Plants into wild  relatives and its consequences, and some have made
their preregistration. Here is the second announcement for this important
meeting. Our apologies for cross posting that may occur through other
channels. Those of you that preregistered will receive a separate mail with
details concerning their registration.

 Safeguarding the genetic integrity of wild taxa is an important element of
biodiversity maintenance policy, and we feel this topic not only relevant
for agricultural colleagues, but explicitly also for taxonomists and
systematists.

 The Conference website is now updated and gives ful information about the
provisional program of invited and confirmed speakers, as well as about the
time table and the registration details
