Do you (or anyone else on this list) have any knowledge about or experience
with Adobe Acrobat "Capture" software? It's an extention of Acrobat that is
intended specifially for capturing paper-copy materials into PDF format.
I've got it on order through UH bookstore right now. A bit pricey -- even at
academic price scales -- but it sounds like the prefect tool for converting
hardcopy published literature into robust OCR'd PDF files. If anyone is
interested, I'll report on my experience with this software after I have
chance to play with it -- but I'm interested if anyone has already been down
that road.
