Yes, it would violate my copyright, since you forwarded my
post.  However, I now grant you (retroactive) permission to
do so.

On the other points, you've brought up a lot good issues,
and I would like to let you know that the Supreme Court
has agreed to hear a case next term that does involve the
95-year copyright term and the interests of those who
want to make public domain materials available on the
Internet.  If you feel strongly about it, I would urge
you to contact your professional organization about the
possibility of filing a friend-of-the-court brief (amicus
curiae) in the Supreme Court this fall that communicates
your perspective before the nation's highest court.

This term, the Supreme Court decided a case that involved
the patentability of plants, and many organizations were
able to get their views known to the Supreme Court in
amicus curiae briefs.
