epithet for "coastal plain"

    The term "paralia" (from Greek paralos, meaning near the sea) might work
if one is talking about vegetated tidal flats.
     Above any tidal floodplain, you could use "campestris", but that refers
to "plains" in general.  I've never heard of "costacampestris", but I guess
there's a first time for everything.
     Might also consider something based on "pratum" (meadow or prairie).  I
suppose "costapratorum" might work, if pratorum or pratincola are not
specific enough.

**P.S.  Just read Jan's last post, and the "-ora" suggestion sounds
interesting too ("adorapratorum" has a nice ring to it).
