FW: Congress considering bill to fund construction of new facility y for U of Utah Museum

It is a whole lot less harmful than the legislation proposed by another
of our wonderful Congressional Reps. Check out Jim Hansen's efforts.
All this legislation requires is money.  Hansen is bound and determined
to keep as much land as possible from being designated wilderness. Money
can be recouped eventually and there will be a resource developed. We
can never restore disturbed lands - or not in our lifetimes, not if
restoration means more than the showy plants and animals but that means
nothing to Hanson. Let the ATVs roll. Of course, I wish the money were
coming here rather than the University of Utah (and I dislike the whole
pork barrel concept, but that is embedded in human nature and American
tradition).
