Carrion beetle request - southwest USA

Dear taxacomers,

If you or anyone you know might be able to help me by collecting an easily
trapped beetle in the southwest USA please read on:  (please respond to me
off-list, thank you!)

I am in need of live adults of a carrion beetle that occurs in Mexico and
the southwestern US- Silphidae: Nicrophorus mexicanus. I need to find
someone who can help me by collecting and mailing me these beetles. I'd be
happy to negotiate a reimbursement of costs and an honorarium (off list, of
course).


In the right location (cooler forests usually) these beetles can be
easily trapped with rotten meat. The known localities, months and elevations
are listed below. If you can help or would be able to suggest someone who
could, I would be thrilled! I can send detailed trapping and mailing
protocols also.
