Pterocarpus septentrionalis Donn.Sm.
of Guatemala
is highly likely to be the same as the
Flor de Mico
Phyllocarpus septentrionalis Donn.Sm.
of Guatemala
Although the inclusion of authors in botanical names in publications for the
lay public is ususally overdone and risks being confusing it does help in
reverse engineering names
