Origin of name of genus Dalminiastes

Thank you very very much!
In fact, I am from Croatia from its region called Dalmatia. I am searching
for roots of genus name Dalminiastes, for it sounds familiar to me (sound
like Dalm - atia). I am preparing to participate in exhibition celabrating
"A month of Chile in
Croatia" days in Split, my town. A lot of people from Dalmatia emigrated all
around the world. Many of them live in Chile, too. Recently  I got some
common Chilean insects from Croatian emigrant from Chile. His name is Dr.
Tomas
Cekalovic. He is interesting in other hand for he collected more than 20
arthropods new for science, including many insects. Now I need to make story
about this person. I wondered about this "dalm" in Dalminiastes - could it
be somehow connected with Dalmatia through some other people who gave name
to this insect genus. I still didn't get the answer, but I've got many other
interesting informations.
