A filtering question, not taxonomy

I am not more annoyed by non-English spam. The problem is that our IT
people have installed anti-spam software that seems to work against spam
using the same alphabet as English but they do not seem to be able to
block spam that uses different a different alphabet. Consequently 90%
of the spam that I receive is Korean. Spam in any alphabet is annoying,
and sometimes obnoxious. I do use the delete button, but thought
(correctly) that some people on this list would have useful suggestions.
I have received several - along with the comment that no solution is
perfect.

I shall compile the suggestions and make them available later today as
several individuals commented that they would be interested in
solutions, even partial solutions.
