stories.  Two of my favorites, from Intro. Oceanography classes are:

Q: Describe a simple salt marsh food web.

A: seaweed-->lobsters-->tuna


Q: Relate form to function in a squid

A: "They look like little donuts" (it took a while for me to get this
one; seems he had recently dined on fried squid rings at a seafood
restaurant)
