Dear Taxacom Subscribers,
The Taxacom list administrators are deleting Taxacom
subscriptions more aggressively than traditionally.
The number of email delivery error messages which come to our
email inbox, due to such problems as "userid unknown", "mailbox
full", "host inaccessible", etc., has grown to many dozens of
messages daily.
We simply don't have time to attend to repetitive instances of
these messages, each day. So, rather than putting off the
inevitable (deletion) on the off-chance that the subscriber will
come home from vacation and empty his emailbox, or that his
flimsy network hosting service will stabilize, we're deleting
subscriptions as soon as a serious delivery error is reported to
us.
If you find that you are no longer receiving Taxacom at some
point, and you did not UNsubscribe yourself, you've probably
been deleted. If you wish, resubscribe and hope that your
presence on Taxacom will not again be noticed by us via those
error messages :>) You may also review the past archives to
catch up, in that case.
Thanks, and sorry for any inconveniences this may cause.
Peter Rauch
Taxacom Co-Admin.
