The chapter on "Observing, Dissecting, and Drawing Flowering Plants," while
excellent, only occupies pp. 19-25. The remainder of the book is a survey of
angiosperm families such as would be used in a taxonomy course. On the
other hand, Wendy Zomlefer is an exceptional botanical artist and the book
is well worth owning if only for the first-class illustrations of each family.

I do think if she were to produce a book along the lines of the original
query, she would find a ready market for it. (Heck, I'd buy one!)

Heck -- I would too! If Wendy is on this list, or if anyone out there knows
her personally, please let her know that 1) at least two taxonomists own and
appreciate her work, and 2) we would like to see more!
