I am studying the insect herbivores of Symphonia globulifera (Clusiaceae)
(in the New World only), Pentaclethra macroloba (Mimosaceae), Enterolobium
schomburgkii (Mimosaceae), Dipteryx species (Papillionaceae), Taralea
oppositifolia (Papilionaceae), Hymenaea courbaril (Caesalpiniaceae), Carapa
guianensis (Meliaceae), Simarouba amara (Simaroubaceae), Cordia nodosa
(Boraginaceae), and Jacaranda copaia (Bignoniaceae). I am trying to obtain
as much information as possible about insect herbivores associated with
these trees. If you have made ANY potentially relevant observations, or are
otherwise aware of insects that feed on one of these trees, please let me
know. Thank you, -Duane
