geographical coordinates and accuracy and time

Here are a few quotes from plant lables that I appreciate for their
geographical accuracy:

"Locally abundant around the truck"

 "At the base of the Rincon Mountains, 30 miles east of Tucson"
(note: Tucson now climbs the lower slopes of the Rincon Mts.)

"Washington Territory, Colombia River, at the Big Bend in the river"  (in a
very elegant copperplate handwriting)

I smile when I think of these, and try to never make such mistakes myself.
