Insect Systematist
$47-$53K + superannuation

We are seeking a highly motivated person with a record of research
achievement in insect taxonomy and phylogenetic reconstruction.  You will be
rssponsible for developing and carrying out research to document and
monograph the Australian stiletto flies (Diptera: Therevidae).  The research
will involve developing databases, conducting taxonomic revisionary
research, producing phylogenetic treatments and interactive identification
guides.  Activities will include field work in semi-arid and remote areas of
Australia.

You will be employed by CSIRO Entomology, as part of the National Science
Foundation of the USA-funded "Partnerships Enhancing Expertise in Taxonomy"
initiative.
