Is there such an abbreviation??

Dear Taxacomers,

sp. denotes species.
spp. is all inclusive (Past, Present, Future) species

My question to you is...

1) Is there an abbrev. that denotes Present and Future with out the Past?

2) Do you know a good book that describes these abbrev. and lists these?

The reason I am trying to find such an abbrev. deals directly with the seed
industries in the united states. When moving seed back anf forth across the
borders random samples of the lot are tested for certain noxious weed seeds.
They would like to excude certain species which were in the past once of the
same genera.

This is my first time on Taxacom and I would have to say that I really enjoy
this listserv. I have learned quite a bit.
