Postdoctoral Fellows in Molecular Systematics and Evolution

       The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County seeks applicants
for postdoctoral fellowships.  Candidates are solicited for both the W. M.
Keck Foundation and the R. M. Parsons Foundation postdoctoral fellowships.
Each successful candidate will have a PhD. in organismal biology and
evolution; emphasis in Ichthyology or Herpetology is preferred, but
applications in Marine Invertebrate Zoology will also be considered.
Experience with molecular sequence data in evolutionary and phylogenetic
systematic studies is preferable but not required.  Start date is
negotiable, but must be between January 1, 2001 and September 1, 2001; the
term is one year.  The salary will be $32,000 annually, with medical and
dental benefits included.  To apply, send curriculum vita, reprints,
