point data of migratory birds

Dear Taxacomers,
several contributions in the last months mentioned the
importance of  collection data points for a production of maps.
However, I have not found any museum server providing a file of point data
for a certain species. In particular, I am searching for
museum point data of any migratory bird, as an example for
our groms database. Our database (www.groms.de) contains distribution
maps in GIS shape format, and it would be interesting to present
one example of an overlay with point data from museum collections.

Can anybody provide a major data set for any migratory bird?
