I'm not sure what I said anymore, either.  I think I made the point that
the Code governs nomenclature, not classification, in response to some
point someone made about something.  I do seem to recall pointing out that
a string of words like Rosa setigera var. tomentosa f. inermis is *not* a
name as defined by the Code, it is a classification.  The thing's name
under the Code is Rosa setigera f. inermis.
