For those interested in such matters, the following paper just published
provides a general introduction to the biodiversity atlas concept
as supported by myself, Morrone, and others. This paper is directed at
a general, non-specialist audience. The article focuses on the track, baseline,
and node aspect of the Atlas while other papers by Morrone et al. also include
cladistic area components.
