The Bell Museum of Natural History, the Department of Ecology, Evolution,
and
Behavior, and the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife announce two tenure
track positions. Candidates should have an active, specimen-based research
program involving mammals or aquatic invertebrates, emphasizing a conceptual
focus (examples include phylogeography, biogeography, conservation,
comparative biology, molecular or morphological phylogenetics, or other
related topical areas). In addition to maintaining an innovative and
extramurally funded research program, the successful candidate will be
expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate education mission
of
the University, curate either the mammal or non-insect invertebrate
collection
(the latter is strongest in molluscs), and help maintain scientific content
and accuracy in the Bell Museum's public outreach programs. A Ph.D. is
required and post-doctoral experience is preferred. Please send a CV; up to
