Help with authority name in Puccinia

The rust attacking Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense) is listed in most of
the literature that I have seen as Puccinia punctiformis (Strauss) Roehl.
However in the CABI database of fungal names the authority is given as
Puccinia punctiformis Dietel & Holw. (1813). Can anyone tell me which is
correct?
