Rankless English orthography

Since my name has been mentioned a couple times lately, let me just mention
that the Tom DiBenedetto is not a fan of superfluous articles. "Roseaceae
is..." is just fine. "The clade Rosaceae is..." is also good.
I never advocated using "The Rosaceae is...".Taxon names are akin to proper
names, so I dont see the role of the "the".
