Database Programmer Position
Specify Software Project
Natural History Museum and Biodiversity Research Center
University of Kansas
Part-time (75%) or full time position beginning as soon as possible. For
the highly motivated individual, we have excellent benefits, a casual
University environment and the opportunity to work with scientific database
project.
Required qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 1 to 3
years professional programming experience OR 5 years professional
programming experience; Demonstrated ability to program or run applications
in Windows 95+/NT environment and design and/or maintain relational
databases and formulate SQL statements; Minimum 1 year professional
experience programming in an object-oriented programming language; Good
written and oral communications skills. Review of applications will begin
on March 17 and will continue until the position is filled. Application
