Temporary closure of herbaria TRT and TRTC

The Royal Ontario Museum Vascular Plant Herbarium (TRT) and the Cryptogamic Herbarium (TRTC) will be moving to new facilities in the ROM's Curatorial Center this summer.  Effective immediately both herbaria will be closed to visitors and normal operations until the packing and relocation process is complete.  We request that all loan, exchange, and information requests be deferred until further notice. We expect to be up and running by the Fall and will post a resumption of business notice at that time.  Thank you for your cooperation.  We regret any inconvenience that this may cause. 

Any material that we currently have on loan will be relocated to the new facility in a safe and secure manner.
