Thomas Lammers

Thank you all very much for good suggestions on the identification of
the plant from Ecuador! Obviously, it is not so easy to identefy plants
like this from a photo, and it seems like this part of the Asteraceae
has been subject to some splitting and synonymizing through the years..
Anyways, we have learned quite a bit!
