For any interested, the topic of ongoing floristic discoveries in North
America north of Mexico will be aired on "Public Interest," a live call-in
radio show out of WAMU in Washington, DC, on Monday, 7 February, from
10--11 Pacific Standard Time.  Check www.wamu.org (under Programs: Public
Interest) for affiliate stations that carry the program, or log on for
either real-time broadcast or subsequent archive.  The only listed
affiliate station in California is KUOP in Stockton, 91.3.  The panel will
include Barbara Ertter, Jim Zarucchi, Vicki Funk, and probably a few other
plant systematists still being rounded up.
