The sample prints found at most stores are of little use. Most of us print
lables on pH nuetral paper, a far cry from the papers used in electronics
stores. Take a sample of the archival paper you will be using with you to the
store and have a sales person print the text sample on your paper. Most will
do so. Some of the major printer manufactures are improving their inks,
however, I still use a laser for printing lables, then place the lables in a
archivable plastic zip-lock type bag to lessen wear on the lables.
