voucher specimens..once again

Hello again,

...Interesting the recent thread about vouchger specimens...I had a look on
Martin, N.A. (1990).

Yet there are some doubts:

Is it convenient to list up the voucher specimens and their reference numbers
in the "material and methods" section, or should there be a separate appendix
for such purposes, or is it sufficient to state "voucher specimens were
deposited in XY" without explicitly publishing the reference numbers?

I am asking from a field biology background, I don't care much about molecular
biology, but I guess the publication guidelines should be quite the same.
