Second Round of Advertisement

Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Arkansas

        A 20-month  postdoctoral research associate position is available
immediately in the laboratory of Drs. James B. Whitfield and Sydney A.
Cameron in the Department  of Entomology, University of Arkansas,
Fayetteville.  The NSF-funded project involves testing co-phylogeny between
microgastrine braconid (parasitic) wasps and the polydnaviruses they carry
to suppress host immune systems.  The successful candidate should possess
skills in PCR and DNA sequencing, and in the phylogenetic analysis of
sequence data.  Interest in coevolution and/or insect systematics is
preferred.
