Please see http://www.rbgkew.org.uk/is/it/email.html which gives
general guidance for contacting staff at Kew where it states:

        "All registered users at RBG Kew have email aliases in the
        form: FirstInitial.Lastname at rbgkew.org.uk (i.e. the first
        initial, followed by a dot, then the surname followed by
        @rbgkew.org.uk) so, if you know the name of the person you
        wish to contact their email address is easily guessed."

The person in charge of the Herbarium, the "Keeper of the Herbarium",
is Professor Simon Owens. I leave it as an exercise for the reader to
formulate the email address :)

In addition we have a number of email aliases for particular posts or
groups of staff (such as 'mycology' as mentioned by JJ Wuilbaut). The
Keeper of the Herbarium post has 'HKeeper'.
