You made a good point. The roots are deeper  and have to be mended in the
graduate courses. This aspect will also be treated at the International
Congress of Zoology in Athens.  There will be a General Discussion (C1) on
Zoological Educaton, organized by Joe McInerney. I am sure that he will like
to hear your opinion and perhaps invite you yo ;participate.
