Dr. Robert F. Thorne has prepared a summary of the monocotyledonous
angiosperms, revising his 1992 treatment. The summary may be seen at:

I have added authorships for suprageneric names as known to me currently.
Names without authorships have yet to be checked for their validity. Full
synonymy has been added except at the rank of subfamily.
