New Sternberg Museum

Dear TAXACOMERS:
     The long-awaited grand opening of the new Sternberg Museum of
Natural History (here in Hays, Kansas) was this weekend.  The full-sized
"animatronic" Tyrannosaurus rex moves and roars (but luckily it is not
as deafeningly-loud as the one in Jurassic Park).  Some of our
best-known fossils include the famous, large "Fish within a Fish",
various Pteranodon species, and a large beautifully-preserved slab of
Uintacrinus.  More information can be found at the museum's internet
