PLEASE: Let's end the whole subject of Iran. I am sorry
I brought it up. Taxacom is not the place for a discussion
of international politics. In attempting to be brief
in my apology this morning, I stepped on a few American
toes. Explaining my whole feelings on the subject would
take several pages, and we all have better things to
do. Let's argue about Latin instead. At least I am
reasonably certain there are no ancient Romans on
this list.
Just one note:
>Pepsi Cola ad in Japan that translated as
>"Will bring your parents back from the dead.")
Actually, it was Coca Cola in Taiwan. "Coke adds Life"
is what got mistranslated. "Coca Cola" itself
means "Bite the wax tadpole" in Chinese.
