     The New York Botanical Garden has an opening for a PROGRAM MANAGER -
     PROGRAMMING SERVICES in its Computer Services Department.

     Duties:  Act as lead programmer in the continuing development of the
     Garden's new specimen database/collections management system (CASSIA)
     in an Oracle client/server environment
     (http://www.nybg.org/bsci/cass/index.html).  Participate in the
     admininstration of the Garden's web site (http://www.nybg.org) and
     other facets of institutional computerization.

     Qualification:  Bachelor's degree.  Experience with the development
     and support of a large-scale database system, including experience
     programming in an Oracle environment.  Oracle Developer 2000
     experience, web site administration and/or web material preparation
     desirable.
