Combining two subthreads--

Among plants there are names like Adiantum capillus-veneris (Venus's hair),
Scandix pecten-veneris (Venus's comb) and Specularia speculum-veneris (an old
name--Venus's looking-glass).

Here's a way to make more money from buyers of species names--offer to name a
bunch of species after their possessions or body parts!
