If the Cactaceae is confined in distribution to the New World, its baseline
requires a link between the Cactaceae and most closely related taxa. I'm
no authority on the Family. One source states a number of other families
are candidates. They
have New and Old World ranges, so an Atlantic baseline is implied.

Dipterocarpaceae confom to an Atlantic/Indian Ocean baseline

This is on the distributional and phylogenetic information available to me
at this time.
