Well, hoax or not, my representive got an ear-full (maybe eye-full)
anyway.  A quick check at the CNN site shows two recent stories
(March) relating to this topic but both cover efforts by the FCC and
congress to insure that U.S. government regulation or long-distance
charges will *not* come into play.  The search produced nothing about
any congressional initiative to promote long distance charges.
