In my own opinion, I think that our colleague in
Belgrade can be excused for his off-topic comments
yesterday. It must be horribly distressing
to be living in a city under bombardment by several
of the most powerful nations on Earth. I am
upset myself by the tragedy, and I sympathize with
all the innocent people and other organisms affected.
  However, this is a forum for science. We need to
remain neutral here concerning matters of international
politics. Let us not turn taxacom into a forum for
debate on this topic.
