Fellow Taxacomers,
I do not feel that TAXACOM is the medium for expressing people/political/war
problems. Krapez should have restricted his comments to endangered plants
and animals. However, as he has expressed a few opinions relative to
Milosovic and NATO, I will add mine.
In a contrary view to Krapez, I feel that Milosovic's solution to the people
in Kosovo is anything but political.
I was in a bookstore on Saturday (3 April). I purchased a book written by
Richard Overy with Andrew Wheatcroft, 1989, titled The Road To War. After
reading the first half of this book, I cannot help but see the parallel
developments presently in Kosovo with those actions of Hitler, starting in
the Rhineland, Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia, Austria, and ultimately, the
WWIII war trigger, Poland.
Hitler thought he had a "process" for taking over territories and countries
that would not trigger Britain and France to declare war because he knew how
the British and French "work and think". He was on his route to
"Lebensraum" for the German people for all of central Europe. He was right
till Poland. Nobody stopped Hitler till he attacked Poland
I think Milosovic has a similar game plan. He, too, has been successful for
over 3 years or so - bluff on his part, backing down on our part. Now the
backing down is over.
