Fungal collection arrangement

The fungus collection at MSC is being moved to new cabinets.  I am curious
about what arrangement of specimens (phylogenetic or otherwise) is best for
a moderate-sized fungus collection (about 12 herbarium cabinets of mounted
specimens)?  The collection also contains many fleshy fungi in boxes.  We
do not have a mycologist on the curatorial staff.  The filing scheme should
ideally be simple, allowing for staff who are not trained in mycology to
locate and re-file specimens (perhaps with the help of a guide sheet posted
on the cabinets).
