Description in esperanto

I vaguely remember a note published in Taxon (journal of the International
Association for Plant Taxonomy) that suggested to use Esperanto as an
official language for description of extraterrestrial organisms if and
when such organisms are found. I am afraid that even for the
extraterrestrial plants botanists will have to stick to Latin.
