[Prof Rodney Moffett]

Can anybody tell me more about J. Sims, who between 1801 and 1826
contributed almost 300 plates of South African plants to Curtis' Botanical
Magazine. Was he or she the artist or the author and where was he or she
working? A reference or very brief biography would be most appreciated.
