Zip drives, etc.

Thanks to all who have expressed opinions about portable and/or high capacity
storage. Because I have a database that needs regular backup following
additions/changes, is too big to fit on standard floppies, and I use several
different machines to work with the database (machines that do not share network
connections), the read/write CD solution doesn't seem reasonable.
>From the responses I have received, it sounds as if Zip drives have some serious
problems; some of you have encountered real difficulties while others are satisfied
users. Given these responses and my budgetary constraints, I will go with the
Imation LS-120.
Thanks again for the advice.
