MASTERS LEVEL POSITION IN BOTANY, chemical ecology, microbiology,
natural products, or related disciplines.  The Smithsonian Tropical
Research Institute seeks a laboratory manager for a NIH-funded (ICBG)
bioprospecting project in Panama.  The position requires benchwork,
fieldwork, proficiency in Spanish and English, and the management of a
plant collection, extraction and microbiology laboratory.  Responsibilities
also will include the supervision of 3-4 technicians and travel throughout
