And I would strongly recommend leaving it under the original generic
combination. A recent catalog attempted to list all valid names in a
particular taxonomic group in one country. But since an early
"wastebasket" generic name had been previously synonymized with an even
older Linnaean generic name, and there were several of those "species
inquirendae" described under the "wastebasket" generic name, the author
recombined all of these into the Linnaean genus even though it is now well
characterized. So we now have some new combinations to worry about in the
Linnaean genus, even though the species in question are completely
unrecognizable.
