Imported cabbageworm

Dear all,

Can someone tell me the correct scientific name(s) to use for this common =
white butterfly called the imported cabbageworm?
In both ESA and ESC lists of common names, it is Pieris rapae (L.). =
However, Artogeia rapae (L.) is found in many published papers, too. Is it =
still acceptable to use this latter name?
