Folks,

Unless I hear a resounding call to continue (via email addressed
+personally+ to me, anamaria at grinnell.berkeley.edu, as Taxacon list
co-owner) this thread on singular/plural, I ask you to close it off now,
and let's move on to other taxonomy / systematics / classification
topics of interest to Taxacomers.

I think the discussion has been useful, and that the ground has been
covered adequately to alert everyone to the issues involved. Any further
discussion of the finer points and misunderstandings can be carried on
_privately_ among the principals involved til now, perhaps with a
summary posting to Taxacom if any resolution and agreement is achieved
among the parties.
