>I still have not received a definitive answer to the question
>I posed last week: if the requirements for valid publication
>of a plant name (diagnosis/description, type designation,
>and indication of where the type is housed) are met on
>different pages of the same book, which page is one supposed

Reponse : Art. 33, Note 1.

[Art. 33] Note 1. For the purpose of this Code, a page reference (for pub=
lications with a consecutive pagination) is a reference to THE PAGE OR PA=
GES ON WHICH THE BASIONYM WAS VALIDLY PUBLISHED [cf. Art 32] or on which =
the protologue is printed, but not to the pagination of the whole publica=
tion unless it is coextensive with that of the protologue.

   Salutations amicales,

   Jacques Melot, Reykjavik
